Apparently, the qualifications in Guilford County are somewhat less restricted than other Hall of Fames that I have been considered. I submit my name for consideration and will guarantee how ever many tables/attendees required to secure the nomination. Heck, the plane holds 85, so I’ll buy 85 plus another 25 for local friends.
I am concerned about this “Plaza” location, I consulted several national publications as well as the Internet and I am unaware of this facility. Who is the Head Chef? I know that this may sound picky; but if I am going to drop a few bucks to fly everybody out; I want something better than some hot dog buffet.
Andy,
I will be flying in from Kansas City, MO to attend Monday evening. Looking forward to seeing a lot of people I have met over the years I lived in the Greensboro/High Point Area. What a fantastic turnout.
You said that Jeff Davis was a finalist. Is the Jeff Davis that played at Greensboro Dudley in 1978 and later at Clemson? I thought he would have been in the Hall of Fame a long time ago. I played football with Jeff at Dudley and he was a true superstar on the football field. Well Done. Great person too.
Jeff “The Judge” Davis, from Dudley HS and Clemson University and I think later on with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers….
