Thoughts and prayers go out to Coach Causey’s father and family

Coach Chris Causey’s father, Paul Causey, had a heart attack yesterday and the surgery was done this morning at around 3am and Mr. Causey is now resting and doing well….

Coach Causey is the head football and baseball coach at Western Guilford and is a very respected member of the Western Guilford HS community, as is his dad and they have been, for many years….

Mr. Causey went in to have some work done a kidney stone and then they found the heart blockage and difficulties, resulting in the need for bypass surgery….

We wish Paul Causey a speedy recovery and hope he can be back at the games soon….Thoughts also again go out to Coach Chris Causey, his family and his uncle, Paul Causey’s brother, Don Causey, another member of the athletic Causey Crew……

Good Luck on the rebound and we’ll be looking for you soon up at the McDonald’s on College Road or at Westridge Road….We won’t be there often, but maybe Doug Henderson or Henry Bondurant, Mr. Holland or another one of the team, can hold down our spot….

Closing thoughts:

Please pray for the family and doctors during the next several hours, as they
assess and treat. Pray for the family, as they await what we hope will be more positive news.

  1. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Coach and his family.

    Respectfully,

    A Page Pirate parent.

  2. I can’t think of more supportive parents than the Causeys. If there is a game where Coach Causey is coaching, there also are the Causeys.
Prayers for a speedy and full recovery.
