Might need to bring them in next Friday morning when it comes time to do the new picks…..Two losses this week and I went with my mind and not my heart and got burned, like I was trying to cover on a pass play, in the secondary and I should have been rushing the passer….
Went with my mind on NG-EA and Grimsley-WG and the Hornets and Nighthawks showed the heart and got the wins…..Kind of crazy, when (7-2) feels like a bad week, but thus, those are the type of standards that we have set here at Greensborosports.com and the fans/readers have come to expect perfection from us……

My cousin was out there last night.
What happened to Channel 12 and their sports? Are they still covering high school football? Have not seen anything from them this year. Since Dave Goren left and Cameron Kent took over it looks like the station is going all news and weather and no sports. Time Warner has a station on 14 that has been putting up some highlights on Friday nights and 2 has a good Friday Football show. But I have seen nothing from 12 this year. FOX 8 is still coming on early, but all they usually have is partial scores or halftime reports. They usually leave early from what I have been hearing so they can get back to the station by 10 and they are home in bed by 11. Things have really changed around this market since Hogewood left for New York and CBS or FOX or the network he went to work for. May have been Turner.

Channel 12 is covering high school football. The Northwest/Southwest game was the game of the week. Since Northwest won, their team and cheerleaders were live in the studio for their high school highlights, which started about 11:15.

See my reference was not to the game against Morehead, which EG dominated in every phase of the game, but to this coming week against the Northern Nighthawks, It could be an interesting showdown in Gibsonville THIS Friday night…….

alot better game than what the experts think, we will just say that. Those boys in Gibsonville might be able to hang with Northern. I know there record does not say alot, but they have alot going for them right now.
Farley, Do you really think that EG has a snowballs chance in Hatie of beating Northern? I am not sure who’s coolaid you have been drinking, but Northern will dominate. We are the Best team in Guilford County! Hands Down……
