  1. Coach you know the how the story goes…..NEG took Page twice and then Page went on to win the Pizza Hut Tournament, while NEG finished 7th….The wild card in all of this is , that Page has been on a tear to move near the top after last week’s 45 point win on the road at Dudley and NEG fell on the road at North Forsyth…..

Both teams have been hot, but Page is just a little bit hotter right now and when you are in contention with a hot team, you can’t let one get away…..Things can change in a hurry and believe me, around here they will….

We might have changes on here by Saturday night or Sunday morning……

I have always liked your competitive spirit and you don’t go away like some fans….In the end you will get your just reward….Maybe a State Title appearance for NEG or maybe PAGE stays hot and they get one too….Would be nice to see for both….Until then, the race in the Polls is on…..

  2. How Can NW be ranked number 10 ahead of Ragsdale…they recently beat them at NW head to head and Ragsdale is currently in second place in the conference…the same conference that NW is fifth?????????

  3. NWG has just won back-to-back games, a two-point win and then a one-point win….NWG at .500 overall and Ragsdale has an overall losing record….Hard to put a sub-.500 team in here when we have adequate choices that are above the half and half mark…

I go more by overall mark and not as much by what you have done in the conference….

  4. Tiger Pride, I double-checked and Ragsdale is at (11-12) and are very close to NWG….We may to look at moving your Tigers back into the poll next week…

Maybe they will face off at the Conference Tournament….They met at the Pizza Hut Tournament and who won that one? I remember it being in the consolation game and Benaiah Wise had a strong game for Ragsdale and Cody Hylton was hot for NWG from three-point range and Jaxon Randolph was also tough for Ragsdale and McGee and Roberts have been stepping up lately….

Good arguement on your part and let’s also wait and see what happens tonight…

Both teams are in action and the end of the year is hanging in the balance….

  5. Thanks For the info Andy! all i know is that Ragsdale beat them at NW last time they played and Ragsdale also beat them at the Pizza Hut. if we are looking at trends….i think ragsdale has won 6 out of their last 8 games with one of those losses coming to then undefeated in conference SW. I know overall record is important…but look at Ragsdale tough non conference schedule: i think they have played Andrews, Reagan, Northern, Smith, Page, Grimsley, i think that is some tough competition…they were a young team who is now starting to get it together. Who knows maybe your correct and NW is the better team, maybe they will meet again in the conference tourney…i guess we will just have to wait and see…gotta love high school basketball.
