Herb was run out of town because of Princeton offense. Too boring they said. 5 straight NCAA bids and they got greedy. Wanted more. Rick Barnes played em for fool they are. They got what they deserve.
I think that would be a BIG BAD MISTAKE. I do think he is done though. BUt a midseason exit…. no good can come of that.
How about if Lowe does the Diet Drew and announces he will step down at the end of the current season….Does that give Pack fans hope or does that cause present players to go into the tank even more so, than they have already….
State sucks, has sucked, will suck. Does not matter who they hire. It’s a 3rd-tier program.
lowe is a good man and deserves the respect and support of the wolfpack fans for the rest of the season. what he does not deserve is another year as head coach. he has been there long enough with little to show. nobody in their right mind could say he has not been given enough time to show some progress. in fact, if someone came in next year and got us back to the level we had reached with herb, that man would not just be coach of the year in the conference, but maybe the entire nation. leave the barnes types alone and go get a younger coach who is producing at the mid-major level. regardless of what wildmanstan might say, the team may be 3rd tier now, but it’s not a 3rd tier place to coach.
