GREENSBORO, N.C. — North Carolina-Greensboro is eliminating its wrestling program for financial reasons.
The school said Monday that cutting wrestling would save roughly $308,000 each year.

Nine and a-half and now the number 10, and that is the end, of the UNCG wrestling program…….
The way the UNCG men’s basketball team was playing at the start of the season, it looked like they cut the funding for that program too.
I had heard that former UNCG AD “Bullet” Nelson Bobb strong-arm was heading into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, or was that “Bullet Bob” Armstrong??? I may have the two confused…..
