  1. Two good game tonight. JV also lost a nail biter 1-0. Pitching was outstanding tonight at both games. We had trouble piecing hits together. Josh hit an absolute bomb out of right center. All I better say is SA is a tough place to play. Congrats to you guys and see you in a few weeks at the Falcon nest.

  2. I’ll say it sefan, the strike zone for high school is not four ball widths off either side of the plate. Makes it difficult
to hit when you have to swing at everything. Still, we did not hit the ball and SA did. We’ll have a better game next time.

  3. Danny that’s the same ump that threw Dave out of the game at SA last year. Not sure about the field ump but he didn’t have a stellar performance last night either. Not saying that cost us the game but just stating fact.

  4. That was not the same ump that threw Beasley out. He was umpiring that game last year but he did not eject Beasley it was the field ump.

  5. The GDS school site has them at (0-2) at http://www.greensboroday.org with the next game due up on Saturday(tomorrow) at Northeast Guilford at 1pm….Sat, 03/19/11 1:00PM Away vs. Northeast High School (from the GDS site)…..Team made up of 4 seniors(including Alec Bankhead) and 2 juniors and the rest are freshmen and sophomores…..Jemelle Lewis is still there and he usually carries a big stick…..

After NEG on Saturday, next up will be Providence Day in March 22….

  6. Well it IS Alamance County so I’m sure they are at least closely related. 🙂

Just kidding I have many friends and coworkers in Alamance County. Obviously they have a great baseball program at SA.

  7. sefan,

We just are not hitting the ball top to bottom. Part of it is certainly the pitching we are seeing right now because we are seeing everyones very best, but we have to get better at the plate and overcome the good pitching. It’s got to improve with the group of hitters we have.
