DeSean Anderson(Ragsdale HS) makes the most of his first career start for the South Carolina Gamecocks

South Carolina Gamecocks 13-4 winners over Mississippi State on Sunday and with several players down due to injuries in the outfield, DeSean Anderson, former Ragsdale Tiger, made the most of his first career start as a Gamecock, going 3-4 with 2 Doubles and 1 run scored for the defending NCAA Champions…..

Anderson, a freshman, got his first hits as a Gamecock and there is a very good chance he will be back in the lineup when South Carolina(31-8) hosts Liberty University, on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Columbia, South Carolina…..

DeSean is on his way and with that 3-4 effort on Sunday, you have to think that this former Jamestown, N.C. student-athlete is ready and willing to see his Gamecock crew/team make a run at another NCAA title this season…..

Good job DeSean and give it run, as you and your mates go for the crown, and no matter what happens, the entire Greensborosports.com staff is proud of what you have done already……..
