Caldwell- Mancuso 2-3, 2B RBI; Martineau 2-3, 2B, 2RBI – Westchester –
Hearst 1-3, 2B 2 RBI, Tufano 2-3 RBI

Westchester struck for 4 in the third inning opened by a Kelly Patram
sacrifice fly and a double by Terrance Hearst. Patram held Caldwell in check
until the 5th when Jacob Gladwell drove in Joe Martineau to make it 4-1.
Caldwell struck again in the 6th with three runs off double from Nico
Mancuso and Martineau to knot the game at 4-4. Devon McLemore came on with
two out and bases loaded to get the Wildcats out of the jam. In the bottom
of the 6th Westchester scored with two outs as a slicing line drive was just
missed by diving left fielder Bill Robinson which proved to be the winning
run.

  3. Great game last night. Josh got another HR to tie it 1-1. JT also got hbp and intentionally walked again. We had some chances but just couldn’t get er done. Pitching by both sides was outstanding. Jacobelli not only pitched a great game but had another fence rattler double. SA made some ESPN highlight worthy defensive plays. Umps did a great job. Could only have been better if the Falcons could have won. 🙁 Congrates to SA. This was another classic battle between these two outstanding programs.
