Top 25 All-Time ACC Quarterbacks with Rivers#1 and Rod Elkins(Grimsley HS) makes the list, but Mike Elkins does not

Philip Rivers is #1 on the list from Caulton Tudor, at the News and Observer in Raleigh and at Charlotte Observer.com and as for the local Elkins Brothers out of Grimsley High School, Rod(UNC) made the list, but Mike(Wake Forest) did not….I thought Mike did a better job in college than Rod did, but that’s just my opinion, I wonder what Ricky Proehl would say?

CLICK HERE to hit the list and see the Top 25 QB’s in ACC history…..Sonny Jurgenson is absent too, but they tell me, that Sonny was a better DB in college, than he was at QB……It almost makes you want to cry, Sonny is now 76 years old and where did all those years go for the former Washington Redskins great and all those days watching him run the George Allen offense, back when we were kids…..It is sad and sure not funny for Sonny, but the days are long gone now…..

  1. Geez, I was gonna argue about Rivers being #1, because I didn’t think he was all that great at NC State….but, after looking at the whole list…the ACC’s not exactly a Hall of Fame list for QB’s..is it??? I guess Rivers is OK at #1……

  2. Dont know the criteria but I would have thought Roman Gabriel would have been ahead of a few of those guys.

  3. It should. List sounds shaky at best. I would comment further but the friggin link in the article doesn’t work.

  4. For some reason they pulled the list or eliminated the link and I had go back and get the list from another article/post and here it is….We had the link up before, but since they pulled it off here is the list:
