Clint Moore(Grimsley HS) leads Army into Patriot League Championship on Tuesday at Navy……Winner goes to NCAA’s…

Best-of-three series tied at one game a-piece, after today’s action at The Naval Academy, in Annapolis, Maryland……Game three will decide the Patriot League Championship and determine who gets the NCAA bid, in this Clint Moore’s senior season and they will play that game tomorrow(Tuesday) at Navy………

Game One:
Navy 4
Army 3

Game Two:
Army 6
Navy 3

“I thought we played more aggressively in the second game, both offensively and defensively,” said Army head coach Joe Sottolano. “We set the tone early and I think it carried through the rest of the ballgame. Clint Moore made some outstanding plays in the field and Clint came up with a couple of key hits for us, and Joey Henshaw swung the bat very well all day long.

  1. Tough way for Moore to end his career with two errors at the end of the game to allow Navy to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the bottom of the 6th and to go on to win the game 5-3. He has had a great career @ Army. What schools did he turn down to go to Army?

  2. Great career for Clint Moore at Army and he leaves West Point with just all the hitting records or near the top in all the major categories for hitting….Hoping to see his name show up on Monday June 6 during the MLB Draft and thanks for represeting our city and county so well at Army,,,,,,It was a lot of fun ot follow your career, especially in your senior year……

  3. Moore leaves the program as Army’s all-time leader in home runs (35), doubles (51), RBI (184), runs scored (174), total bases (413), slugging percentage (.589) and multiple-RBI games (54), while his 233 career base hits rank second all-time at the Academy.
