GALAXY AAU TEAM

The Greensboro Galaxy AAU organization headed up by Rodney Westmoreland is proud
to announce that five girls from last year’s AAU squad will be playing at the
next level in their Athletic and Academic careers. Brittany Drew of Page will be
playing for Guilford College. Desiree Drayton of Dudley will be playing at UNC
-Charlotte. Chell Jackson of Dudley will be playing at Denmark Tech. Phoenix
McGee of Dudley will also be playing at Denmark Tech. Miranda Jenkins of Eastern
Guilford will be headed up to New York to play for Stony Brook University. We
are proud of the hard work that they have shown over the years along with their
accomplishments. Brittany Drew, Desiree Drayton and Miranda Jenkins are three of
the players that remain from the Divsion II National Championship team in 2007.
It was the first ever for a North Carolina girls AAU team.
