Northeast Guilford falls to South Point at Raleigh in NCHSAA Finals Series and Brian Hall has it all from WFMY NEWS 2 Sports

RALEIGH- South Point rallied from a 6-5 deficit with a seven-run explosion in the sixth and rolled to a 12-6 victory over Northeast Guilford din the first game of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association 3-A baseball championship series Friday night at Doak Stadium at North Carolina State University.

Luis Paula, who was charged with the loss for Northeast, had just given his team a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the fifth with a two-run homer.

But the first seven Red Raiders to the plate in the sixth wound up scoring and snapped a 29-game Ram winning streak.
