  1. Lo will be missed. By the way Andy Valvano clarified the end of the game activities against Houston at the flag dedication ceremony held in the brickyard late Spring 1983. He told me and the rest of the students that we were never to let our “friends” in Chapel Hill know that we were lucky to win the game. He said always tell them that Lo recieved a PASS from Whittenburg.

That dunk is a moment I will never forget. As Derrick has said already Valvano finally has someone to hug.

  2. I remember Lorenzo playing for the Raleigh Bullfrogs in the Global Basketball Association. The Bullfrogs had titanic battles against the Greensboro City Gaers, lead by league MVP Lloyd “Sweet Pea” Daniels. RIP Lorenzo
