That’s a lot of S’s, but High Point Christian found the football tree of life to their liking as they climbed up and came back down with their first-ever conference win, their first football win over Forsyth Country Day, their first win in their first-ever game at A.J. Simeon Stadium in High Point and what one would think was their first-ever Homecoming game win on a Saturday night…….(Congrats to Aaron Quate, the Homecoming King from the contest, at Simeon Stadium….)

HIGH POINT – High Point Christian Academy’s homecoming football game turned into an historic occasion late Saturday.
The Cougars defeated Forsyth Country Day 14-7 to secure their first-ever NCISAA Central Piedmont Conference victory in their first game at Simeon Stadium.
Aaron Quate of HPCA recorded two interceptions and also was crowned homecoming king at halftime.
“We had a great crowd and it was a terrific atmosphere,” HPCA coach Steve Lechner said. “To get our first conference win shows the development of our program.”
