Gotta show love for the Southern Guilford JV Football team. I believe they are undefeated also and won last night 41-6!!!!
Northwest’s last JV loss was on 9/25/2008 to Mt. Tabor.
Knew it was three years and that is getting close to 4 years worth of no losses now for NWG….One to this year, in East Forsyth and heard East always has huge numbers…..NWG 2009, 2010, one game away in 2011 and most of 2008 Unbeaten…..Says a lot…..
I wish there was some type of post season matchup between all the undefeated JV teams out there. They could even make the proceeds go to some charity. I know Page has been undefeated for a few years now along with a couple of other schools. It would give those young men something to look forward to and I know I’d throw my (semi) hard earned dollars toward a good game for a good cause.
That would be fun to see a game like that played for charity. By the way, Page’s last JV loss was to Northwest the last game of the 2008 season. Had to get that in there. LOL
Since the NCHSAA prohibits JV post season, why not schedule next year’s non-coference games against the undefeated teams from this year? NW-Page, Southern-Andrews, Page-Southern, Andrews-NW etc etc. The only thing is somebody will blemish their record that way.
