*****North Carolina Shrine Bowl coach Mark Barnes from Crest High School on his N.C. QB’s….
Barnes, the head coach at Crest High School in Shelby, found just what he was looking for at the position as the Tarheels chose Michael Helms (Freedom), Karshawn Quick (Scotland) and James Summers (Page).
Summers, an N.C. State commitment, is known for his passing and running ability. Helms has a big arm and Quick is properly named as speed is his primary asset.*****
Great BIG shout-out to all our Guilford Co. guys selected for this statewide honor! Also want to congratulate Joel Suggs (Randleman/WFU commit) whose dad is Asst. Principal at Kernodle Middle School & Aaron Krah (Hillside), one of my son’s 4 x 100 relay teammates w/ the Durham Striders for 5 years & all-around fantastic young man! NC is primed to bring home the “W” with this talented team! Go NC………….REPRESENT!
