Is it me, or does Zach Maynard look in over his head? Keenan Allen is a beast, as expected, but his brother looks lost most of the time unless he’s throwing him the ball.

You’re comment shows a lack of football knowledge. Actually, it’s just plain stupid. I don’t get why you and others constantly ‘hate’ on Keenan and Zach. Keenan may have gotten Zach in the door at CAL, but Keenan didn’t get Zach the QB1 job. Zach earned that on his own. He is there best option. Coach Tedford has been in the coaching game for quite some time. He’s established at CAL. He’s calling the shots not Keenan Allen. Did Zach have a bad game? Yes, he did! Did the stage look a little big for him? Yes, it did. So, Footballman is not completely off his rocker. What game were you looking at Completely Wrong? I’ve watched almost every CAL game this year. Zach has some flaws in his mechanics and his game that he and the coaching staff are working on. The loss to USC was worse last year! Maynard will improve or they will bring in a QB who will get the job done. Obviously, that guy is not on their roster right now! If he were, he would be starting!
If you go on ESPN.GO.COM and click on QB stats under NCAAFB you will see that Zach rates #79 in the country. Thats higher that the QB @ Oklahoma St and right behind Martinez of Nebraska. Just give him time. He has not played college ball since 2009!!
Zach needs to stop rolling his eyes and shaking his head when he comes off the field… like it’s not his fault. He’s got a lot of maturing to do. He’s got great talent and tons around him. He needs to get his head in the game.
