  1. All good things must come to an end. Congratulations to the Page JV team on an absolutely amazing run of victories. Dudley fans, congrats to your JV team. Don’t get any ideas about tomorrow’s main event!

  2. John,

Please re-read your 1st sentence. Way to fight JV Cubs! THAT win was HUGE over the Page JV squad. Great run of victories indeed.

  3. All you Pagers out there beware. It would be easy to overlook Dudley tonight but look what they did to SEG. This is just the time of year that a middle of the pack team can come up and bite you.

  4. No doubt about that, Gfan. This is a big game for Page tonight. A win clinches the conference title and will be a big boost to their seeding in the playoffs. A loss takes the outcome of the conference out of their hands and Dudley gets the tiebreaker. I am confident Coach Gillespie will have his team ready to go and then some. Dudley will be loaded for bear tonight. They are 4-0 in the conference, but they haven’t seen a defense like the Red Death this year, nor have they seen a power running attack like Drew Rogers and James Summers. Page has a habit of wearing the other team down. If Page can limit the penalties and protect the ball, there is really no reason why this game should be close.

  5. SG JV won 14 – 0 over Ledford. Now 8 – 1 and claimed at least a share of MPC title with wiin last night.

  6. @pause4because…..if #2 for the pirates would have been healthy the game would have not been close!!!!

  7. There are always excuses when there is a turn of events…My Pirate Fans take it as a lesson learned…There can only be one winner and just because one player is absent they don’t make the whole team look at the other strengths on the JV team, that one person can’t play every position. Have some confidence in your other players. Man up and take the lost with dignity and not wimp out with excuses…

  8. @page alama……..you are correct. But bigtime players make bigtime plays!!!! And a 100% healthy Jalen Gavin would have made a huge difference!! Congrats to Duly on a great win!!

  9. Page and NWG had a couple of Varisty scrimmages(7 on 7’s) this past summer……One was rain-shortened…..Not sure if those involved the JV’s or not…..

  10. How ’bout a NWG vs Page regular season game?! I know firsthand that many of the kids from both schools (Varsity & JV) would love the opportunity to battle it out on the field! Whatcha think coaches? BTW, JV’s were not part of the scrimmages this summer.
