  1. This is going to be a HUGE game….not just for the players, but for everyone in the conference. Independence has been a powerhouse for many years and has rich tradition in high school football. Butler has been building their status over the last few years and have made their mark as well. After the dust from this game settles, it’s going to be interesting to see the positions in the playoffs. I’m sure this game will somewhat affect it.

  2. I want Independence to win only because Butler sent us home packing last year AND, beating Indy will give them an emotional boost heading into the playoffs. However, I’m a (sometimes) betting woman and I’ll have to go with my gut……Butler’s going to take it. They lost a couple of key players from last years squad but they go deep in talent. This game may not be the focus of our local teams come Friday night but I’m sure the schools (in our area) will be v-e-r-y interested to know how it turns out. In my opinion, Butler has some true talent along with Indy but Indy has an axe to grind!
