  1. Nevermind. Per the NCHSAA website, Coach Kirby’s Eastern Alamance Eagles upset South Johnston 49-19

  2. I feel ur pain, ‘ftd’. Brings to mind the NWG conference game. I don’t believe, for one minute, that the Tigers “O” lacks the skill, and capability to do just that.

  3. That was a helluva catch that Walker made on the sideline for that TD. Defense played tough after the first quarter last night. Offense gets too conservative and predictable once they get a lead. That will come back to bite you in the you know what eventually. Just ask east forsyth

  4. Brandon Walker compensated catching a tipped ball with the skill of a professional! As far as the conservative adjusting goes once they get a lead – makes no since to me either pal. I know I’d wanna keep the momentum going. You can’t tell me the adrenaline aint pumpin after a pretty play like that one. Those guys on the team, every one of them, want the same thing – to play good football – it’s that simple. To posses such composure at their age never ceases to amaze me…

  5. Brandon Walker’s catch was freaky. Freaky. The DB had position and Walker tipped twice to keep it alive.

O is hard to figure. We always seem one score away from just putting people away. For the years the D has held but sooner or later the opponent is going to make a play. RHS has good offensive plans. Just get predictable at times as well as conservative a little early in the game. Momentum changed on Walker’s catch and then the D stepped up. You could see it. After the catch the D begin attacking more. The game essentially ended there. Great catch. QB Herndon needs to buy Walker a steak dinner on that one.

Tfan, they do love their football. That program defines RHS. Norwood has built a good program. It unites the school and the community.

  6. Receivers Brandon Walker and Anthony Stewart for Ragsdale are both exceptional athletes…..For Walker it seems like it is all about ‘the catch’ and for Stewart, what he does after he makes ‘the catch’…..Those two young men are ‘Big Play’ receivers all the way…….

  7. As great as Walker’s catch was that was a pretty darn good throw by Herndon as well. He layed it out there right where walker could get his hands on it. As for the catch my son took a pic down the sideline that shows walker palming the ball in one hand before he pulled it in. If I could post the pic here I would. Andy. – anyway I can do that?

  8. Yes, E-mail it may way to andy@greensborosports.com and we get it posted here at this post…..Would love to have it and would see to see Ragsdale vs. Dudley in Round Three of the 4-A playoffs….Go Tigers and Go Panthers…..

  9. Lovin’ the love for Ragsdale’s Walker, Ant, Herndon, and ALL the RHS Tigers!! Davis, Sparks, Whitesell, Austin, Fresh, Keith, Larry, and so many…they are ALL awesome! I agree…hope to see round 3 Panthers vs TIGERS!

  10. I watch the quarterback play for Ragsdale. HENREDON QB IS WAY UNDERRATED in my opinion. And now were hearing more about Walker. GO RAGSDALE! GO PAGE! And NW Guilford too!
