  1. A couple of fine young men with great parents supporting them! Dallas it is just too bad my wolfpack could not have made a better offer :-). I saw Blake at PGCC the other night coaching some kids at the baseball field.

I’m sure you both will succeed on the field and in the classroom.

  2. Clare Cox of Grimsley Women’s Tennis will sign with Appalachian State today at 11:00am in Media Center.

  3. We are all proud of Dallas and Blake and the Falcons will be in the hunt again this year. Southeast had five seniors graduate last year and all five went on to play baseball at the next level. Dallas and Blake are continuing the tradition. Southeast has three other seniors that have been offered oportunities to play at the college level. Austin Bain,Craig Jacobelli and Justin Reece have all three been given the opportunity to play at the next level. They just need to decide what school they wish to attend and if they want to put education or baseball as their priority. I know they will make the decision that is right and fits their needs.
Someone once said it takes a community to raise a kid. Thank you coaches, teachers, and parents. Somebody must be doing something right at Southeast. Good Luck guys— Charlie Pannell

  4. Congratulations to Blake and Dallas! I have had the pleasure of watching these two grow and mature into fine young men as well as outstanding baseball players. I know they both will suceed not only on the field but in the classroom as well. I look forward to following both of them as they move on to the next level.

  5. I have a question here. Why has Coach Grissett been relieved of his duties as the Head Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at Kiser Middle School? This man has won the Conference Championship for the last two years in a row. Maybe Mo Greene can answer this question or better yet maybe the administration of Kiser Middle can answer this question. I know my son played for there at KMS and he said that he was the best coach that he had ever had. I just wish I knew the real answer here to why he is no longer the Head Basketball Coach nor the AD.
