  1. Wow, difficult he Dudley Teams all had Great Players that brought something different to the team at that time. I think the 2007 team had the best natural talent, but lacked the right kind of swag. The teams that followed were more of a good mix of talent fundamental and athleticisim. Hard Work Beats Talent when Talent doesn’t work hard.

    Helen Terry
    Kendra Porter
    Sierra Little
    Makia Valentine
    Candance Saunders

  2. Maybe one of you will know this. I saw one of Delaney Rudd’s teams play this fall at a showcase and saw a girl play that I believe goes to Dudley. She was about 6’1 or so and lanky. Good all around player inside and out.

  3. camille akins class of 2000 was a 4yr starter at dudley
and a 4yr starter at nca&t state univ
no other girl can boast of both of those accomplishments

  4. Helen Terry
    Sierra Little
    Makia Valentine
    Candance Saunders
    Breonna Patterson

anyone else choosing someone other than these are living in dream world.

  5. jj,

    Please stick to the subject:

    Makia Valentine
    Helen Terry
    Candace Saunders
    Sierra Little
    Breonna Patterson

I don’t know what IWO was thinking with their choices of Mcivor, Drayton, Chell, Kk and Rouse! Good thing that there is something called Freedom of Speech.

  6. Ok there is something called Freedom of Speech.Truth b said Dudley has had so much talent to come through it’s hard to choose 5.. 1.Makia Valentine 2.Sierra Little 3. Helen Terry 4. Breonna Patterson 5. Desree Drayton 6.Chell Jackson 7 Ebony Goins 8 KK Rouse 9 Makayla Rouse. But truth b said again this year team has enough talent and atheletism to win another RING,not to mention good coaches to go a long with it……

This is not hard to choose. I went to Dudley and it said to pick the top five. My choices are: Based on position.

    Helen Terry
    Breonna Patterson
    Makia Valentine
    Sierra Little
    Candace Saunders

  8. Are u talking athleticism, fundamentals, character. High school competitor or college level skills. There are only a few that have all those traits.

  9. 1. Kendra Porter- One of if not the best defenders I have ever seen
    2. Helen Terry- Lights out shooter and great leader
    3. Camille Akins- Scores shoots and defends. Saw her play alot at A&T she was the total package
    4. Amanda Hairston- combination of size skills and athleticism. talent wise she is probably the best to play at Dudley durring this time. (Don’t let her off the court issues fool you)
    5. Makia Valentine- Dominates the boards and swats anything that comes threw the lane.
