Jaylin Davis and Caleb McCann will both sign with Appalachian State University today at the school…..The baseball signings will take place at 4:15pm at Northeast Guilford High School, on Hicone Road…..
Both young men were members of the 2011 NEG Rams baseball team that made it to the 3-A State Championship, where they fell in the final game to South Point out of Belmont…….Jaylin Davis, Caleb McCann, Jacob McCann, Luis Paula. Harrison Phillips, Johnny Brown, Joisel Colon, Jordan Brown, Cole Wyrick……That was one solid Northeast Guilford team in 2011 and they won big games all year long, to get to the finals….None bigger than a home game in the playoffs against the Asheboro Blue Comets………
