Great food up at Danny’s Restaurant and you’d have to say it has a tradition like no other…..The tradition of Danny’s Restaurant, first on West Wendover Avenue and now on New Garden Road near the corner of Battleground Avenue…Danny’s serving Greensboro the best food for over 30 years….Danny Thanos a true champion of the kitchen and son Billy, a graduate of Grimsley High School and a semi-famous basketball player from the Forest Valley courts….I was up at Danny’s earlier in the week and ran into pickup basketball legend Rocky Manning, who chooses Danny’s Restaurant these days, as his primary training table…..You take Danny, Billy, Rocky, Andy and Johnny, as in John Cassels, from Forest Valley and that is a pretty good team….
