SEG girls led the entire game until the end. Dudley took a 1 point lead for about a minute but Kenya Hailey scored with only seconds left.
It was a defensive game, both teams missed many easy shots. SEG held the ball for about 5 minutes in the 4th quarter with a 5 point lead. It was
a good game between two good teams. Yes, SEG was up to the task and we have a hurt player on the bench too. Leslie will be back in January and
she will help us under the basket. Kara Shutt had 11 points to lead the Falcons. Falcons are the real deal and can play with anybody in the Metro, they have proved that. Central Davidson was there scouting the Falcons, you think they may be a little concerned? Guess we’ll see next Tuesday.
When you win everyone played great. When you lose you had a starter out w/an injury. Better be ready every night in the Metro!! Everyone can bring it.
Central Davidson knocked out SE Guilford girls last year. So who knows, should be a good match up.
It is kind of surprising that SE Guilford has yet to win the Davidson County Christmas Tournament since they joined in 2004.
Any time your the only non county team playing in the Davidson County Christmas tournament, your only going to advance so far before your handed a loss…..,,,but the Falcons Boys and Girls program won the 2007 tournament……….girls beat East Davidson who went on to win the state championship that year…,,,,Anna Freeman

Ur right. Metro will be good comp this year. Yes u shud be readybring it every night. However it can be a mental thing to. get over when a team learns late on game day that one of their leaders is out for the season. So to all im not saying key player on bench is why team lost im saying their mental focus wasnt on point due to timing of the situation. Its all good though a w is a w
