Greensboro Day School and long-time coach Freddy Johnson looking at more milestones

By this stage of their career, most coaches are coming up with kidney stones or gall stones, but for Greensboro Day School Bengals’ boys basketball coach Freddy Johnson it is more about milestones and new records to be broken, as he takes his team to the Durham Academy tonight….Sometime this week or next, Coach Johnson will set the record for most career coaching wins for the private schools and public schools and his overall win total is already well over 800 victories, as his team takes to the road this afternoon, headed toward Durham….Coach Johnson got his start at Greensboro Day as the boys head basketball coach back around 1980……
