Reece will take a piece of Southeast to West Point(ARMY):Had to be some real Peace for the Reece family on Christmas Eve

Justin Reece(Southeast Guilford Falcons) committed to play baseball at Army(West Point) on Christmas Eve.

The family will be flying up there the last weekend in January for the signing/to make it official…..

Justin can play third, short or second base and was a key starter for the Southeast Guilford Falcons in 2011…..Justin will hopefully join Clint Moore(Grimsley HS), who graduated from West Point in the Spring of 2011 and played all four years for the Black Knights/Cadets….Moore is currently serving as an graduate assistant baseball coach at Army and he played professional baseball last summer, in the San Diego Padres organization, for the Eugene Emeralds(Eugene, Oregon)…..

Would be neat to see Justin Reece and Clint Moore working together at Army(West Point) and the key point here is that Justin Reece will be getting ready to live out his dream, after he finishes out his senior year/HS baseball career at Southeast Guilford, playing for Coach Dave Beasley and Coach Charlie Gamble…..

Great report on Justin Reece and let’s hope the Greensboro pipeline to West Point, New York, along the banks of the Hudson, continues…..

Go Falcons and Go Black Knights…….

  1. (Let me jump in before big Charlie does) That’s fantastic!! I knew he was considering Army but glad to hear he has made up his mind. I remember those days on the PG Pinto field. Nothing but love and best wishes to Justin and his family!!

  2. I think we should see Charlie and some others in here soon….The Falcons are one big family and they stick together like a flock and that is a good thing….That orange and black runs deep, down off of 421 South and now spreads it’s wings to West Point and the Black Knights….

  3. From the Newton Family:

Justin we are very proud of your decision. We know you will do well academically and athletically! You have a bright future ahead! GO FALCONS!
