The high school basketball games are starting real late down in Mecklenburg County this year and we had the same problem in Guilford County for a few years, when they went to that schedule with 4 games at the same site, on the same night….Now we are back to a girls varsity at 6pm and boys at 7:30 schedule and it seems to working much better, especially when you are dealing with Tuesday night games and other week-night games….Big time problems down in Charlotte though and Langston Wertz Jr. from the Charlotte Observer is taking a long look at the problem and he’s seeking a solution…..Meck men and mommas are mighty mad…..
