In the girls game between Southeast Guilford and Page, whomever losses this game will be out of contention for the conference title and could be playing for 4th or 5th place. Southern Alamance has a chance to leap frog over both with a win against Smith and they get the chance to play both Page and Southeast Guilford down the road in games that they believe that they will win. Dudley has separated themselves from the pack and will have no challengers. If Smith beats Southern Alamance tonight they are still in the race because they beat Western Guilford and Southeast Guilford but loss to Dudley and Page. Western Guilford had control but loss it with loss to Dudley, Southern Alamance and Smith, but recaptured a glimmer of hope by beating Southeast Guilford at the opening of their new gym. Three losses in conference play could mean you are done. But if some teams can beat Dudley whom already has one loss to Southeast Guilford it could mean that three losses could get one the conference title. No need to think you will win it with four losses. Grimsley may upset one of these teams and that could make things interesting down the stretch. Most ar hoping they could meet Grimsley in the first round of conference tournament. Win the conference and you may get your wish after the winner gets the first round bye if there is one.

Wow, this is going to be a very interesting race. Drawing a lot of attention to this conference, which is good for all teams involved. I guess you can’t take a night off in the metro, it just might cost you a championship!
There really isn’t no dominant team or player talent wise in the Metro Girls conference. The closest may be the Burnett girl from Southern Alamance and the Clency girl from Western Guilford. Every other player is about in the same pool.
Paris at Page is one the best players I have seen in a while. I must say Southern Alamance has the most optimistic fans. If the parents were playing, they would win the conference.
Dudley girls running things as usual, can’t afford not to bring it though. Page and SA are waiting in the wings, don’t blink!
