Triad Bats Baseball Team headed to the Dominican Republic….

Triad baseball players (representing 3 area counties and 7 high schools) are going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic this June. The team is coached by Harlie Miller, who coached one of the Colt All-Star teams this past summer.

The team will be hosted by Score International, and they will play several games against teams from the Dominican. However, the trip is more than just a unique opportunity to play baseball; they will also work with an orphanage, participate in purchasing and distributing food to help feed a village, and work with local children in a sports day camp.

Their next fundraiser is Friday night, Jan 27th from 5-8pm at the Chick-fil-A on Pisgah Church road.

Here is a list of the players.
Most of them are mainly Sophomores/Juniors.
