All three contests were action packed, JV boys won but not sure of the score. Great job by all participants!
— SOUTHERN ALAMANCE 58, SOUTHEAST GUILFORD 51: At Mt. Hermon, Hollie Boggs scored a game-high 20 points, including two 3-pointers, to lead Southern Alamance past visiting Southeast Guilford in a Metro Conference game.
Shaylen Burnette added 18 points and 10 rebounds while Katie Boone pulled down 11 rebounds for the Patriots (14-6, 4-4).
Southeast Guilford (13-5, 4-5) had four players in double figures, led by Kenya Hailey and Kayla Phifer with 12 apiece. Kara Shutt and Kayla Upshaw added 10 each.
— SOUTHEAST GUILFORD 80, SOUTHERN ALAMANCE 63: At Mt. Hermon, Malik Wright scorched the nets for 32 points as Southeast Guilford ran past host Southern Alamance in a Metro Conference game.
Marshall Evans hit a pair of 3s and finished with 14 points to lead the Patriots (4-15, 1-7). Josh Folwell chipped in 12 for Southern Alamance.
