  1. Games like that are the reason I love HS school basketball more than college or pro!!! What a game. Another good game tomorrow, Christ School @ Wesleyan. The game is televised if you can’t make it out. Christ School lost tonight and if Wesleyan bears them tomorrow, The top three teams in the state could be HPCA, GDS, and Wesleyan. Not too bad for the triad.

  2. HPCA vs GDS… The best High School game I have watched in a long time….. Well played.. Good sportsmanship…. A Coaching legend… A young Coach improving everyday… That has the upmost respect for Coach Johnson….. HPCA was a great host the atmosphere was electric… Congrats to both teams…. I hope they are both playing on the 25th for the State Championship…..

  3. Very disappointing loss for GDS. I agree it was a great game. Without question one of the PG’s worst offensive games and looked like it effected him on defense as well. That being said, both teams made big plays in big spots. There are some really good 3A teams this year so not sure if both or either will make it to Championship game. But if they do, it will be one heck of a game. I may just have to take off a day or two of work to watch this tournament. Going to be some exciting basketball. Look for Ross to bounce back. He has been terrific all year.

  4. Yes, he needs a few deep playoff runs and at least a state championship or two along with years of consecutive winning seasons to be inducted into the coaches HOF. Look for the argument for Brandon Clifford for coahces hall of fame to make more sense in about 10 years or so.
