  1. The showdown at the Bears Den turned out to be an exciting home win for New Garden Friends . New Garden’s Kanayo Obi-Rapu Jr. with 32 points out dueled Brett Manning of the Eagles who finished with 31. Michael Kobani added 28 for the Eagles and Keemon Ingram tossed in 20 for the Bears.
    The Bears rained threes all night as Obi-Rapu (3) Ingram (4) Williams (2) Morgenstern (2) Poulos (2) Secor (1) lit it up from every angle ringing up 14 threes . Kobani was a force inside with multiple rebound follow shots for the Eagles . The Bears finally broke it open in the fourth quarter outscoring the Eagles 28-18 in the final frame. Obi-Rapu hit 7 of 7 free throws in that last quarter and 11 of 11 for the game.

    Congrats to both teams for a hard fought, clean and exciting game.
