The Dudley boys team are looking like they are peaking at the right time to make a run through the conference tournament leading into the state playoffs. I would not be surprised if they won the Metro 4A tournament on their home floor.
yeah why is it the conference is held on Dudley’s home court? Seems like it should travel each year to a different school in the conference to be fair.
I. Smith The conference tournament location is voted on in the summer by the conference AD’s and I think there decission to have it at Dudley has been based on the fact that Dudley has the biggest gym with the most locker room space to accomodate the number of teams. I don’t se any other school in that conference with enough gym and locker room space to hold it. Maybe Page with gym space but not locker room space. Maybe now that SE Guilford just built there new gym they will look at having it there. Also alot of times AD;s don’t want to go through the hassle of hosting it.
