ELON, N.C. – Due to a win by the UNC Asheville men’s basketball team in the Big South Conference Championship that allows UNCA to host the tournament title game on Saturday, March 3 at noon, the Elon women’s basketball team’s Southern Conference Tournament game versus Samford originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m. will now be played at 4 p.m. The game will still be played inside Kimmel Arena.
Saturday’s SoCon Tournament schedule is now as follows:
Noon – #1 Davidson vs. #8 College of Charleston/#9 Wofford (Justice Center)
4 p.m. – #5 Elon vs. #4 Samford (Kimmel Arena)
6:30 p.m. – #2 Appalachian State vs. #7 Western Carolina/#10 Georgia Southern (Kimmel Arena)
9 p.m. – #3 Chattanooga vs. #6 Furman/#11 UNCG (Kimmel Arena)
