‘Between the Lines’ with High School Baseball Tonight:”We Welcome Brush, Ohio back to the Triad”!

Forsyth Country Day at Greensboro Day School 5pm….FCD won the meeting with Furies and Bengals last week 15-5, re-match this week……
McMichael at Eastern Guilford6pm….Was scheduled for last Friday, moved to Monday and they should get it in today….
Northern Guilford at Morehead 6pm….Nighthawks at Morehead(make-up contest) and no game with North Davidson….
Trinity at High Point Central 6pm….Central may want to start playing every day, the way that they have been playing, 6-0 over Ragsdale last Friday and 3-2 past East Forsyth last night…..You can only play three games a week on the Monday-Friday system….
Brush, Ohio at Reidsville 7pm….Good to the Brush team back in town for the Spring Break week of Triad Baseball….
East Forsyth at Grimsley 7pm…Grimsley has the completion game with Dudley set for Thursday and not sure I want to be getting the EF Eagles the day after that got run by HP Central…..DJ Reader should be back and ready for Grimsley again, off the injured list on Monday April 2….At least that is what DJ told me last Friday night and I hope it is true, cause that kid is ready to play and has been taking work in the batting cage……
NO Northeast Guilford at Dudley tonight……NEG can only play THREE games in week over the Monday-Friday schedule and they faced North Forsyth on Monday, Asheboro on Tuesday and they will meet Southern Guilford on Friday, all conference games and therefore, NO Dudley-NEG Varsity game tonight, but the JV’s will play and should be set for 5pm at Dudley…….
Western Guilford at Northwest Guilford….Not sure about the time as of yet(5:30PM), but this game is a continuation from last Friday night at NWG, with Western leading 4-1 in the 4th Inning, after the game was suspended due to lightning and rain…..
Upper St. Claire HS from Pittsburgh, PA. at Ragsdale…JV’s at 4:30 and Varsity at 7pm….

  1. Andy, can you post the standings in the two big 4a conferences – the one with Grimsley/seg, etc, and the one with NWG, SWG, Rags, Glenn – seems a lot of team are beating up on each other – playoff berths should be fun to watch

Not a lot of defense for both teams but the Eagles did enough to help the freshman Gardiner hold on for the win.
