Zena Lovette(SWG) and Paris Key(Page) named to Women’s AP All-State Basketball Teams and Purvis, Ingram and Outlaw Jr. among the boys on the team

Good ole’ Guilford County is looking pretty good on the Women’s high school AP All-State Basketball team, with senior guard Zena Lovette(Southwest Guilford HS) and sophomore guard Paris Kea(Page HS) making the squad….Good job ladies and job by coaches Jessica Bryan and Debbie Jones for getting them there….

A few of the boys on the All-State team include Rodney Purvis from Upper Room Christian Academy in Raleigh, Denzel Ingram from Chapel Hill High(and I hear that Denzel is headed to Charlotte to play for the 49ers) and junior Tyrone Outlaw Jr. from Roxboro, whose dad TO Sr. was one of the best to ever come down the courts/lane….At 6’7 that man could move, smooth……..

*****Again, BIG-TIME Congrats to Zena and Paris……*****

  1. Congratulation to these young ladies! I agree with Stella what do you do to make this team? I have seem most of these girls stats and it is a couple that did not achieve this honor by performance?
