Greensboro College Men’s Golf First Among 32 Teams at Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) — The Pride men’s golf team took a first day lead among a field of 32 teams at the 41st Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate on Friday. The 54-hole, three day tournament is played at Paradise Point Golf Course.

Greensboro kicked off the tournament with a ten under-par, 270. Ben Nihart fired a low round of 63, while Joshua Hudgins and Scott Novicki followed with a 68. Nick Peoples concluded the day with a 71 while Kirk Mitchell came in at 75.

The Pride are currently one stroke ahead of USC Beaufort and Methodist. Greensboro will hit the course again on Saturday before wrapping up the tournament on Sunday.
