GC Men’s Golf Concludes Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate in 3rd of 32 Teams

The Pride men’s golf team completed a solid weekend effort with a third place finish at the Camp Lejenue Intercollegiate. Greensboro led the 32 team field after day one and sat in fifth place heading into Sunday’s final round.

The Pride shot a three-day total of 855 to tie with USC Beaufort for third. However, Greensboro won the tie breaker to finish behind Methodist (836) and Oglethorpe (852).

Scott Novicki shot a Sunday team best round of 69 on the Scarlet Course. Nick Peoples followed at 71 while Joshua Hudgins came in at 74. Ben Nihart and Kirk Mitchell each recorded a final round 77.

The top 16 teams going into Sunday played the Scarlet Course while the remaining 16 teams played the Gold Course.
