Troutman, Isenbarger Named to All-State Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Elon sophomores Jack Isenbarger and Lucas Troutman were selected to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) All-State Men’s Basketball second team. The two led the Phoenix in scoring this year and helped the team to a second-place finish in the Southern Conference North Division.

Isenbarger, a first-team All-SoCon honoree, averaged a team-best 14.5 points per game, a number that rose to 17.3 points against league foes. The guard scored in double figures in 14 of the final 15 games, hitting his career high with 34 points in a win over The Citadel. Despite missing a few games due to injury in the early part of the season, Isenbarger led the team with 73 made three-pointers, a number that ranked fourth on the school’s single-season list.

Troutman finished the year averaging 12.8 points per game and shooting a team-best 52 percent from the field. He blocked 44 shots, ranking third in the league and tied for seventh on Elon’s single-season list. The big man has swatted 91 shots over two seasons and is listed sixth all-time at Elon. Troutman scored in double figures on 21 occasions, including five of the last six contests. He dumped in 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting in Elon’s double overtime win against College of Charleston.
