  1. Anyone who was at that game last night know that’s RC should have won that game. When are the admin. Going to wake up and see that we have coaching issues. A team that should have finished at top of conference is going to finish dead last. Congrats to our coach and ad, you have managed to destroy a program in 1 year that has been always at the top for the last 25 years. You should be proud. As for the kids? You all hold your heads high and have fun. Keep playing hard. One more thing. Thanks to RC Coach for taking a team who should be competing in playoffs to not even making the playoffs.

  2. So the coach hits, fields and pitches? That’s the problem with kids and parents today…….they don’t take any responsibility or want to be held accountable……..starts at an early age when they get a trophy for just participating….nothing earned! And the parents telling them at an early age”johnny your so good”……

  3. I don’t disagree with accountability at all. But it starts with the coach holding them accountable. But then again the kids do not make the line ups or fielding assignments. Pitching rotation is an issue too. You can’t hold your players accountable when you do not practice fundamentals. This carries over to the games as we have seen this year. Kids at this age still need direction which they do not get and discipline which they do not get. This has been a disaster since day one. Old coach had discipline which equaled respect and winning.

  4. Yeah WA won 11-1 and thoroughly embarrassed us as EA did not seem to even show up.

I have not seen RC and won’t be able to make it tonight, but not many teams are going to beat Alan Sharpe, so not sure what you think the coach did to ruin the game last night. Like Alumni said, he can’t go out there and hit the ball and pitch. Williams is a good team and RC will see another good team tonight, and likely another dominant pitcher. Mid-State 3A is a very good conference and tough to win every night.

  5. Not taking anything from BW and the Sharpe kid, they are a good team. You are right the conf is a very good conference with a lot of good kids playing. Decision making is hurting RC. And lack of knowledge for the game and how to execute.

  6. Westchester Country Day School won 15-5 in five innings over Burlington Christian to go 10-2-1 on the season. Adam Kirkman (3-0) and Luke Puckett combined to get WCDS their first conference win of the season. Markel Johnson, Tyler Marion and Kelly Patram hit HR’s for WCDS. WCDS hosts St. John’s Prep School tonight at 6:00.

  7. BW is a very well coached team that knows what they do well and just do it. Did see RC play earlier in the year and was shocked and how little their coach does. At the end of the day its a team effort. Also, have been really impressed with the Sharpe kid. Whoever worked with him in the offseason did a great job developing him. Big game Friday night at BW. They will Welcome WA
