College Men’s Lacrosse Final – #9 Roanoke 17, Guilford 7

SALEM, Va. – Reid Mayberry scored six goals and Jeff Keating added three goals and five assists in Roanoke College’s 17-7 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) lacrosse win over Guilford College Wednesday.

The Maroons (11-3, 6-1 ODAC) are ranked ninth in this week’s United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s Division III Coaches’ Poll.
Mayberry scored three times in the first quarter and twice six seconds apart at the start of the second quarter. Keating had two goals and three assists in the first half, which ended with the hosts on top, 11-3.

Chris Ashcraft and Ian Parker both scored twice in Guilford’s season finale. Nick Mann notched two assists for the Quakers (6-9, 1-6 ODAC). Freshman Thomas Deane made 12 saves and picked up six ground balls in goal.
