Northern Guilford at Eastern Guilford 5pm….Completion of a suspended game, with NG up 14-1 in the top of the 5th, with one or two outs….
Eastern Guilford at Rockingham County 7pm
Grimsley at Western Guilford 6pm….Completion of a suspended game, with no score(0-0), headed to the top of the third inning….
Southeast Guilford(20-2) at Southwest Guilford(17-4) 7pm….Geoghean vs. Jacobelli or maybe Bain, Sweet and Will Greene combo….Would be interesting to see what Cody Ezzell would do out there on the mound here late in the season, but it is late in the season and not going to try too much messing around, time to stick to the regular game-plan/formula, but Cody is a good one and he plays a mean third base and is one-half of one of the best left sides of an infield around, along with Blake Butler(SEG-SS)….Ezzell is one for those college scouts to be keeping an eye on, only a junior…..
Dudley at Western Alamance 7pm…One of those real tough late-season games for the Panthers coming off of a tough loss to Page on Tuesday…
Ranleman at Northwest Guilford 7pm…Another tough non-conference matchup for NWG, with the Tigers coming to the Quad-Cities of Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Colfax and Stokesdale……Quad City has a deep baseball reputation, but Randleman comes in as a defending State Champion…..NWG 4-A Title came back in 1998 under Sandy Gann….
North Stokes at McMichael 7pm….
Trinity at Ledford 7pm…Non-conference, but Ledford is looking to take that Mid-Piedmont Conference title away from NEG…..Ledford at Asheboro on Friday and Southern Guilford at NEG….
