NEW ORLEANS – The latest regional rankings for NCAA Division I cross country were released today, Sept. 10, by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Elon women’s cross country team climbed two spots from 13th to 11th in the Southeast Region.
The Phoenix remains the only team in the Southern Conference to be ranked. The next rankings are scheduled to be released on Monday, Sept. 17.
Elon will compete in the fourth annual Elon Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15. The women’s race is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., followed by the men’s race at 9:45 a.m.
