Have You Seen This 5th Grader Playing on a High School Team?????

Fifth-grader Julian Newman is a starting guard for the Downey Christian High School in Florida.

His Dad is the Coach, but the kid can play. He gets in the WAIST of players (not face; because he is shorter than most high school players). Which has to be annoying because he can shoot, dribble and play defense.

Watch him dribble – an exhibition!

  1. I hate to sound like a hater, but why when we hear about these kids with crazy high skill level at an early age, they always play for these private schools that do not have to go by the same rules as normal public school. Even more, these schools sometimes are terrible. What does this say about the level of his competition?
