GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford was able to make 10 out of 11 free throws in the 4th quarter to score a 53-49 victory over High Point Central in an ugly, but hard fought game.
–Nick Powell led Northwest with 20 points, while Colson Everett chipped in with 12 points for the Vikings.
–G. Pratt led the Bison with 14 points. J. Foggie and J. Thompson scored 11 and 10 points respectively for High Point Central.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Northwest Guilford would like to take a moment to congratulate Senior Guard, Cody Hylton, for scoring his 1,000th point in his career at Northwest. This feat was actually achieved on December 26, 2012 vs. Ragsdale High School during the 1st round of the Timco Invitational Tournament. Cody was recognized for his accomplishment in a ceremony at center court before the start of tonight’s game. CONGRATULATIONS Cody!!!
