TIMCO Aviation Services Signs TIMCO Invitational Sponsorship Extension

GREENSBORO, N.C. – TIMCO Aviation Services has signed a multi-year agreement to continue its role as the title sponsor of the TIMCO Invitational presented by New Bridge Bank, it was announced today. The 38th annual TIMCO Invitational is set for Dec. 26-28, 2013 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex Special Events Center.
TIMCO joined the tournament as title sponsor in November of last year just six weeks prior to the event after signing a one year agreement. The three-year sponsorship extension makes TIMCO the tournament’s title sponsor through the 2015 TIMCO Invitational; terms will not be disclosed.

“We are excited to extend our sponsorship after a successful launch of the relationship with the 2012 tournament,” said Kevin Carter, CEO of TIMCO. “Our affiliation gives us an opportunity to introduce TIMCO and the growing Triad aviation industry to young people, their parents and the community. As the aviation industry continues to expand, we want people to recognize they can consider aerospace for a potential career in their own hometown.”

“We were ecstatic to introduce TIMCO as our title sponsor back in November,” Greensboro Sports Council president Randy Cobb said. “But now that we have worked with our new partners at TIMCO, we truly understand how fortunate we are to have them on our team. The transition to our new title sponsor was seamless, and working with TIMCO just felt natural. Now that we have a long-term agreement with them, we can focus on new enhancements to make our event even more exciting each year. I know I can speak for everyone at the Greensboro Sports Council when I say we look forward to a long-term relationship with TIMCO.”

For more than two decades, TIMCO Aviation Services has provided aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, engineering services and manufactured products to customers throughout the aerospace industry. 1. Why are we trying to make the TIMCO EVENT bigger than what it is when the competition has not been remotely close to what they are trying to promote especially on the girls side.
