Reid Baxter(Northwest Guilford HS) ready to attend UNC-CH as preferred Walk-on for football

Reid Baxter, from the Northwest Guilford football team, will enter the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall of 2013, as a preferred Walk-on for the Tar Heels…

Baxter heads to UNC as an Athlete, having run for 3,377 yards in his three-year varsity career at NWG and he posted a total of 60 Touchdowns…

The breakdown on Baxter’s numbers goes 121 carries for 1,020 yards rushing in 2012, with 14 rushing TD’s…He also caught 9 passes for 125 yards and 1 TD, plus he had 8 kickoff returns for 245 yards and one more TD there…For his career at NWG, Reid Baxter scored 45 rushing TD’s and 15 other TD’s, by pass reception or kickoff return..

On defense in 2013 Baxter amassed 45 tackles and added 38 assists on defense, as a starting defensive back for the Vikings….

The Northwest Guilford Vikings are coached by Joe Woodruff and Baxter’s new coach in the fall of 2013 at UNC will be Larry Fedora….

Baxter tells us he is looking forward to getting on the field at UNC, with Eric Ebron(Ben L. Smith HS) & T.J. Logan(Northern Guilford HS), two outstanding young men/athletes that he has competed against and soon will suit up with as teammates.
