Southeast Guilford defeats West Forsyth Green in Junior Legion play

Austin Coble had a solid performance on the mound for Southeast Guilford JR Legion to garner the Memorial Day win . Coble gave up only 3 hits and one unearned run in 4 innings of work. Todd Baldwin went 2 for 3 at the plate and scored Southeast’s first run. Noah Marley was 2 for 4 at the plate for the Falcons. Conner Vaughn and Avery Alley combined for the save and the final score was Falcons 4 West Forsyth 2.

The Falcons travel to Mt. Tabor for Tuesday’s match and return to Southeast Thursday.” Wednesday will be a light practice and we can work on a few fundamentals. Practice is rare when you play as many games as we do in Legion ball. These kids have been thrown in the deep end of the pool and are learning to swim on the field of competition. I think they have responded well.”said Coach Chris Alley.
